Openlane Studios makes Unreal Engine 5 simulations where the systems underneath — traffic, economies, weather — keep running long after you've logged off. That depth is what turns a map into a place. It's slower to build and harder to fake, but it's the difference between a world that's performing for you and one that's actually running.
About the studio
Nothing's for show.
Most open worlds are dressed up to look busy — NPCs walk the same loop, prices are fixed, the town resets the moment you leave. We build the opposite: worlds where the busy is real. If a truck isn't hauling anything, it's because nobody's paying for that route right now, not because the game forgot to spawn one.
It costs us more in engineering time up front. It pays off every time a player notices something we never scripted.

Roadborne drops you into a world where thousands of independent haulers are already on the road — securing loads, driving them across the map, and unloading them again, whether you're playing or not. Prices shift with what's actually moving. Routes get busy or quiet on their own. It feels less like driving into a level, and more like driving into a place that was already busy before you got there.
Park up for a coffee break and check the board when you're back — jobs will have come and gone without you, prices will have moved, and somewhere out on the map, someone else's truck just took the load you were eyeing.
